The CIA-connected Bill Hickock (of the Gulf Oil Mellon family) laundered CIA drug money through his role as a director of Castle Bank, in the Bahamas. Hickock provided a haven for the CIA’s LSD experiments under Timothy Leary, at Hickock’s family estate near Millbrook, NY.

Ken Kesey (of the Merry Pranksters) and Robert Hunter (of the Grateful Dead) met through the CIA’s LSD experiments at Stanford, in Menlo Park, CA.

Owsley Stanley learned of LSD through these CIA experiments on LSD use, and went to Millbrook to meet Timothy Leary. It was Bill Hickock who financed Owsley’s manufacturing of millions of hits of LSD that were distributed, in part, through the Prankster/Dead Acid Tests. Jerry Garcia was close friends with Owsley Stanley.

The CIA’s mind control experiments, which included LSD experiments on willing and unwilling subjects, took place at over 100 universities and hospitals, including Stanford University, the University of Hawaii, and the University of Illinois Medical School.

The CIA promised to abandon the program after it was revealed by Congressional investigations in the 1970s, but the use of psychiatric drugs was seen in the CIA-connected assassins John Hinckley Jr. and Mark David Chapman, who shot Reagan in 1981, and John Lennon in 1980, respectively.

Both Hinckley and Chapman had worked for Hinckley’s father in the CIA front organization, World Vision.
