English news:

Coronavirus: asymptomatic Wuhan woman shows why outbreak 'will be hard to stop'

"All five of her relatives developed Covid-19 pneumonia, but as of 11 February, the woman had still not developed any symptoms, her chest CT remained normal and she had no fever, stomach or respiratory symptoms, such as cough or sore throat"

--- So much for the fever tests everywhere.

Don't let China start dominating UN agencies

"China is hardly alone in seeking key posts at international institutions to give it a greater voice in the world community
[...] But there is a stark difference: Western governments are democratic, China is not."

--- Important difference. Should be made clear to all those naive SJW's who want China to have a greater say in international affairs.

Coronavirus: South Korea confirms huge rise in cases

"A team of experts from the WHO is due to arrive in the Chinese city of Wuhan, where the outbreak first emerged, on Saturday"

--- Wow, less than 3 months after the outbreak started. China & the WHO working together so speedily.

China's couriers take hands-off approach amid virus

"platforms have moved to "contactless" delivery to guard against infection, dropping parcels off outside gated communities due to paranoia over the virus"

--- Often on the ground, which is of course the most hygienic place. Not to mention that food & containers have been handled previously. But:

"Delivery riders typically provide a card listing the temperatures of all those involved in cooking, packing, and delivery"

--- Which is a great relief. It's not as if the Wuhan virus could be spread by people who show no symptoms. Right?

Coronavirus: China brings in seven cruise ships to house Wuhan medical workers

"at a time when such ships are under scrutiny after hundreds of passengers on the Diamond Princess liner in Japan contracted the coronavirus"

--- Yeah, great idea. Stadiums as incubation centres for patients & now cruise ships as incubation centres for medics. Looks as if China isn't happy with stabilising infection numbers.

Hundreds of dead animals in China blamed on ‘massive disinfecting efforts’

"hundreds of animals have mysteriously died in Hubei Province
[...] At least 135 animals — including boar, birds and weasels — were found dead just in Chongqing"

--- Oomph. Chongqing (Chungking) is not in Hubei. But well, it's from the New York Post, so has to be taken with a grain of salt, anyway.

"The sites where the animals were found will be disinfected"

--- Then again, this sounds very Chinese. A bunch of animals died because of disinfection. Chinese commie logic: OK, let's disinfect a bit more.

Australia relaxes coronavirus travel ban to allow some students from mainland China

"the good news in the last few weeks from mainland China has been there have been very very few exported cases of this disease"

--- So, let's produce some more.

"It is incredibly important that we get some normality back to the international student market."

--- Because we like Chinese money. We want Chinese money. Bring in more Chinese money!

Photography on the frontlines: How China is tightening control of how it is seen, at home and abroad

"photographers who have been covering the protests are facing censorship of their work from an unexpected source: the SONY World Photography Awards."

--- Chinese money is everywhere nowadays. & with Chinese money comes Chinese censorship.

China takes centre stage in global biodiversity push

"Li doesn’t expect China to address environmental concerns about the BRI seriously at this year’s biodiversity talks."

--- Of course, China won't. There will be some showing off of "great" domestic efforts by announcing natural parks, but what happens abroad, the CCP doesn't care. It's Chinese companies & Chinese money destroying the environment everywhere, but it doesn't count, because it's not in China.

A Chinese police exercise in how to deal with drivers without masks

--- & how competent traffic police works in reality (though unrelated to the Wuhan virus).

Deutsche Nachrichten:

Italien meldet zweiten Coronavirus-Toten
