In connection with the murder case of media person Jyotimayi dey, the court sentenced life imprisonment for the underworld don Chhota Rajan and other 8 allies. CBI court had convicted them earlier. The court aquitted the media person Jinha Vorah and Paulson Joseph who belongs to Kerala. This court order comes after seven years after the murder of J dey.
J Dey was an investigation editer of Mid-Day eveing daily. He was murdered near his home at Powai. It was found that the instruction to kill came from Chhota Rajan. Vorah approached Rajan to kill J Dey due to proffessional revelry.
