Chelsea FC, one of the best Premier League's teams including: Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Arsenal. Chelsea just won the Premier League about 2 weeks ago. This great organization was founded 112 years ago on March 10, 1905 at The Rising Sun pub. Gus Mears acquired the club to play the Stamford Bridge athletics stadium.For the first few seasons the players wore Eton Blue, the horse racing colours of club President Lord Cadogan, a much lighter blue than many of the shirts we wear today.. Other aspects are more enduring: the first top-flight London derby, a 2-1 Chelsea win against Arsenal was played on 9 November 1907. A similar outcome settled the first ever encounter with Tottenham Hotspur on 18 December 1909.The club won promotion to the First Division in their second season of being a team, They reached the 1915 FA Cup Final, where they lost to Sheffield United at
30 Old Trafford which was their old stadium, and finished third in the First Division in 1920, the club's best league campaign to that point. Chelsea F.C attracted many fans because of the big players that they were signing to play for the club and the success of the club continued to grow dramatically. Former Arsenal and England centre-forward,Ted Drake, became manager of Chelsea in 1952 and proceeded to improve the club. He removed Chelsea’s club crest, improved the youth set-up and training them to their fullest, rebuilt the side with signings from the lower divisions and amateur leagues, and led Chelsea to their first major trophy success, the League championship in 1954–55. The following season saw UEFA create the European Champions' Cup, but after objections from The Football League and the FA Chelsea were forced to withdraw from the competition before it even started. Chelsea failed to build on this success, and spent the remainder of the 1950s in mid-table. Drake was dismissed in 1961 and replaced by player-coach Tommy Docherty. Chelsea FC had their first major success in 1955, when the club won the league cup. Chelsea’s greatest period of success has come during the last two decades ,winning major trophies since 1997. This club is amazing as well as the players that used to play on this excellent club. Players like Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole, Didier Drogba, Ruud Gullit, Marcel Desailly, Petr Cech, the list goes on and on. Sadly some of these players don’t play the wonderful game and more and some are on different teams.
Now, instead of talking about the past of Chelsea, lets talking about what is happening now, the present. Like i said, Chelsea just won their 5 national league title with the help of may star players like Eden Hazard, N’golo Kante, Diego Costa, and many more. They ended the season with the record of 29 WINS, 3 DRAWS and 5 LOSES. Last year wasn’t as good as we expect the club to perform. By the end of the season, they ended up in 10th place with a record of 12 WINS, 14 DRAWS and 12 LOSSES. The team was frustrated on how they performed, and they knew they need to upgrade their squad to become competition to the good teams. In the off season Chelsea pick up David Luiz for £30m from Paris Saint-Germain, Michy Batshuayi for £33m from Marseille and N’Golo Kante for £30m from Leicester City.
