CONTINUED: #6 OFFICIAL Charity post on Steemit - Get your Votes ready for a Good Cause!

Hello my dear Steemers!

It's Sunday, and I'm back again with my weekly Charity post!

I hope you are already getting used to doing good stuff on Sundays... Let the good upvotes be your morning coffee!:)

As you remember, with Steemit doing charity is very easy - EVERY UPVOTE goes to a good cause!

Let me remind you quickly who we are:

Our charity project is called Handmade Charity and we are organizing entertaining and developing events for kids with disabilities.

We are so far the only OFFICIAL non-profit organization posting on Steemit.

And in my previous posts I have explained and actually showed you how the money reaches the cause in the 100% transparent way.

It's BY FAR not only the money rewards that mean a lot for us - your upvotes and comments are the Best Support we can get! And it shows us that we are going in the right direction!

Today in my Charity post I want to go beyond our project and discuss with you the opportunities that this platform brings to organization like ours.

I find the concept of being able to seek donations and contributions directly from the followers of your project as an endless opportunity for non-profits.

How many potential supporters of charities have dropped out just because they didn't have time to look for it and didn't wish to go through the donation process?

And how many people, who are willing to support charities, just don't have enough trust in the money distribution process?

It all can be changed with blockchain and Steemit!

You don't need to enter your credit card details - just UPVOTE!

You don't need to search for our tax filings to see how much we earn and spend - just go to my wallet and CHECK!

The potential of Steemit Charity is underrated because most of the charity posts are made by individuals promising to send money to a certain foundation... And the matter of trust comes again.

While I do believe that all of these initiatives are great and I try to upvote most of them, I think there should be a more structured approach.

What about having a list of verified charity accounts on Steemit? Where you can look up for the cause you like and upvote?

I'm inviting you for a discussion here, and then I will start thinking of moving forward with it!:)

I wish you all a wonderful Sunday and sending you my heartfelt thanks for staying with me!
