Una de las últimas cervezas del lote que pude adquirir de la prestigiosa cervecera neoyorquina. Es una pena que las cervezas (Al menos las IPA) al contrario que ocurre con los vinos, no se puedan guardar y beber años después mejorando incluso su sabor. El lúpulo, ingrediente principal de las IPA, es un conservante pero a partir del sexto mes de enlatado su frescura, propiedades y sobre todo su sabor van desapareciendo.

Tal y como reza la etiqueta de la cerveza en su parte trasera, no hay nada mejor que el Galaxy, excepto un poco más de Galaxy. Y es que este lúpulo, uno de mis favoritos junto con el Citra, tiene un sabor excepcional y si tienes la suerte de beberlo fresco... es una locura.
La cerveza es un bombazo de lúpulo. Cerveza muy amarga pero suavizada con maestría por los maestros cerveceros de Other Half, con su toque a avena, que aporta esa densidad y melosidad que tanto les caracteriza.
One of the last beers of the batch that I was able to acquire from the prestigious New York brewery. It is a pity that beers (at least IPAs) unlike wines, cannot be stored and drunk years later, even improving their flavor. Hops, the main ingredient in IPAs, are a preservative, but after the sixth month of canning, their freshness, properties and, above all, their flavor disappear.

Just like the label on the back of the beer says, there's nothing better than Galaxy, except a little more Galaxy. And it is that this hop, one of my favorites along with Citra, has an exceptional flavor and if you are lucky enough to drink it fresh... it is crazy.
The beer is a bombshell of hops. Very bitter beer but masterfully softened by the Other Half master brewers, with a touch of oats, which provides that density and sweetness that characterizes them so much.
