Individual Thought

Throughout time I've seen an ongoing intent to assassinate a person's character or individuality. If a person has an opinion that veers off the mainstream path then the person is attacked and vilified.

In current times people are censured from public view and ultimately deplatformed.

I agree that truth is difficult to find but it wasn't any easier to find in the past. Maybe it was just that in the past there were less sources from where information flowed. However, this is no reason to quiet those voices that question.

A questioning and thoughtful mind could be compared to a balanced ecosystem that takes what it determines it needs after processing and discards what is no longer needed.

On the other hand, a complacent and unquestioning mind is overwhelmed and overrun with information. It does not attempt to process or discard it simply attempts to hold on and follow suit.

Each and everyone of us is given the right to choose. When handed the samurai sword of choice you will have to make an important decision. You either use it for good, use it for bad, or not use it all.
