On Friday morning the birds were frantic at the feeders. This had to be watched closely. Good thing there’s almost enough room on the shelf…
There were just as many in the raspberry canes and on the feeders, though different types.
The tail doesn’t twitch much, I’ve noticed…
This window attracted a lot of attention on Friday. He’s not bothered the windows before.
But the path up there was around and behind the fairy. She wasn’t as pushed together then, the plant and the fairy being closer to the door. He didn’t knock her off, nor the plants on the shelf in the window. But you can see there’s not much room for a large cat.
And there’s twine at an angle holding the shelf up. That wasn’t a problem getting up, but coming back down took some finagling.
But I pushed her over and the plant to make it look like there was much less room. I don’t know if that will work, but he stayed off the shelf the rest of the day.
So that made this window much more attractive. There are 5 plants on this table. But I have noticed that he’s not much concerned about what’s on things when he jumps up. If it’s paper, it’s good for a slide. If it’s stuff, it might just get knocked over. Fortunately, he’s not knocked over any plants, yet…
All that birdwatching is exhausting. So he comes to rest on me, looking for pats. So I pat this side of him.
Love the stink eye…
Then he will turn around so I can do the other side.
More stink eye… Less photography, more attention to the cat, please.
Between having to remind me it’s meal time 3X a day, all the supervising of work, and bird watching, it’s a pretty hard life…
(This is my first ever caturday post, I think, and it wasn’t planned, just happened…)
