Motivation - What's Your Favourite Quote?

Source

Hello everyone, we are here again with the latest weekly contest by @queercoin with the prompt:

Motivation/Inspiration - What is your favorite quote or phrase? Whose is it? Why do you like it? How does it make you feel? What does that make you think or believe?

One may ask:

"what is my favourite quote phrase?

Well, there are so many quotes and phrases I like and to stick to one as my favourite may be pretty difficult. Howbeit, I'll try and settle for one for the purposes of this discourse. There is this wise saying or quote by one of the renouned and famous author Chinua Achebe (1986) in “Arrow of God”, p.132, Heinemann which says:
The man that brings ant-infested faggots into his hut should not grumble when lizards begin to pay him a visit.

Who has the quote?

Like I said earlier, this quote is attributed to the Nigerian renouned novelist and writer Prof. Chinua Achebe when he made the quite in one his award winning book: "Arrow of God” published in (1986) by Heinemann Publishers at page 132.

Why do you like it?, How does it make you feel?

The quote really reminds me that the natural effects of one's activities should be anticipated. Thus, whatever I do I try to have it at the back of my mind and it guides me in my daily dealings and interactions with others. The outcomes we observe today are significantly influenced by the acts or inactions we took yesterday.

What does that make you think or believe?

With the above in my mind, I always try to do good with the believe that whenever one does, there is always a reaction to that which could be either negative or positive. Thus, we should always try and do good at all times.
