Classic Car & Truck Show Vehicles (Vehicle Spotlight # 7): 1968 Pontiac Tempest LeMans

Our seventh Classic Car Show vehicle spotlight goes on a 1968 Pontiac Tempest LeMans.

The 1968 Pontiac Tempest represented the initial year for the Third Generation of the Tempest brand, where they continued the three separate Trim levels of the Second Generation: Tempest, Tempest Custom, and Tempest LeMans.  Of course, those who had the top Tempest trim level often just called their vehicle a Pontiac LeMans.

Even though the LeMans stood in the shadow of its big brother, the Pontiac GTO, the LeMans helped fill a void for consumers who felt the full muscle vehicle performance the GTO offered was more than they needed, but still liked the GTO’s overall general styling (that rubbed-off on the LeMans), yet at a sizeable price savings under the GTO.

This particular Burgundy LeMans comes with a 350 CID (3.5L) Engine, and an Automatic Transmission.
