Last car presented for this online sale RM Sotheby's Open Roads as it'll finish tomorrow (March 25th) with this stunning 2010 Morgan Aero SuperSports. The current bid is € 200,000 with few hours left on the clock (closed to the estimated price around € 250,000).
Always cool to see cars produced by Morgan, British car manufacturer out of the ordinary offering retro design with great performance.
It's a great opportunity to buy a Morgan because with an annual production of 1,300 cars, you have to wait more than 6 months in order to have one. So what are you waiting for? 😀
If you want to bid on cars I've presented in previous posts, here's a follow-up (some bids are closed now) :

History of Morgan
Morgan was founded in 1910 by Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan. The production is based in Malvern Link (Worcestershire, England) where all the cars are assembled by hand. One of my favorite model is the Morgan Plus 4 :
Morgan Plus 4, cool, no ? I love the front...
But let's back to the Morgan Aero SuperSports is a sibling of the Aero 8 presented in 2001 with an aluminum chassis equipped BMW V8 engine.
The Aero SuperSports is a targa roofed version of the AeroMax, coupé version of the Areo 8. Are you still following? 😀. The model was presented during the 2009 Pebble Beach car show (US). With removable roof panels, its incredible aluminum coachwork was made possible by the technique *Superform (if you want know more about this process, cool article explaining everything on dpaonthenet.net), Very light car for the best performance.
Specification
The Morgan Aero SuperSports is equipped with a BMW 4.8-liter V8 engine modified by Morgan and mated to a six automatic transmission. It's developping about 362 hp with a top speed of 275 kmh / 170 mph. It can reach 100 kmh in just 4.5 seconds almost like the actual supercar.
This example is finished in Yarwood Siren Blue (I love the color's name) over blue and red leather interior. And for a more retro-touch, there are some rosewood veners in the interior.
“The SuperSports is a pure eye magnet. You could park it next to anything this side of a gold-plated Veyron and be confident it would win the majority of attention.” - Magazine Car & Driver in 2011
How do you find this kind of car?
I like it a lot, it's a change from the cars we see every day but it's still reserved for a certain clientele...
