The online sale RM Sotheby's Open Roads is offering up this iconic 1956 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint with a coachwork penned by Franco Scaglione for Bertone. It's only bid to € 45,000 with four days left on the clock.

History of Alfa Romeo Giulietta
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint was presented in 1954 during the Turin Motor Show. The coachwork was designed by Franco Scaglione, working for Gruppo Bertone. The first model was Giulietta Sprint two-door coupé and then four-door Berlina.
As always with Scaglione, the desgin is very aerodynamic thanks to his studies at the university of Aeronautical Engineering in order to reduce the drag coefficient. Throughout his career, we find this concern for the aerodynamics of the cars he designs as especially with the sibling Giulietta Sprint Speciale :

Or his most famous project Alfa Romeo BAT, Bertone Aerodynamica Technica, 3 different cars :

Specification
This Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint is equipped with 1,300 cc twin-cam four-cylinder engine delivering 116 hp with five-speed manual transmission for a top speed of 200 kmh. With its aluminum alloy block and its unique design, this engine was so advanced in its time that it was produced for more than 4 decades
This example seems to be in very good condition with this color schemes, turquoise blue over a grey and dark blue interior.
