Cannabis legalization in Thailand will begin the same way as it did in the U.S. The most diseased, sick and lamentable of society will get it first (AIDS, paralyzed, elderly). After that, medicinal clinics will open, but will be tacitly controlled by mafia and corrupt police (same). Maybe ten years down the line, it may be safe for tourists to go to these clinics. After another ten years, the Thai elite may give a nod to have it legalized so that they can make ungodly sums of money in taxes.
