Canada successfully held off cannabis decriminalisation and finally implemented "Legalisation" aka Prohibition 2.0. Some of the activists, protestors, and cannacommunity members who have pioneered the cannabis industry and culture (that the government would like to erase) were there to celeberate the lift of social stigma but especially to protest the loss of medical rights and personal freedoms because of legaLIEsation.

Big Money from legalisation in general, and the recent Project Apprentice hit us hard, and many of us could not be there because we are sick, dead, demoralized, in prison, etc...and of course sell-outs, but we won't go there. Although they tried to bury us, we are seeds, and enough of us sprouted up that day to fend of the Vancouver Police - an Enforcement Agency of the Government of Canada's cannabis regime, and part-time crime-stopping peace officers. Conversations took place between patients, lawyers, media, police, etc.
Vending naturally took place as it does at grass-roots cannacommunity events like this big or small.
Some mobile vendors popped up and joined us.
Flowering plants in public like this could mean serious jail time under legalisation. Quebec has said no to all personal cultivation AND prohibited the sale of anything depicting a pot leaf!
