Righteousness Our Sceptre

Gen 49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

God made a promise to the tribe of Judah that the sceptre will not depart from them.
The sceptre is a symbol of authority in Israel. It signifies leadership. It signifies strength. It also signifies the presence of God. Whoever had the sceptre spoke as an oracle of God.

Psalm 45:6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. 7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

The sceptre of God is His righteousness, His righteousness is His nature. The moment we became born again we took on that very nature of God upon ourselves.

Righteousness is our sceptre to rule here on earth.

Rom 5:17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) .......19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

All we have to do is believe in the Lord Jesus and receive His righteousness into our spirits to reign and rule in life.
