TO ALL RELATIVES

Sa dakong kasubo, atong ipa abot ang atong mga pag ampo alang sa pahulay nga dayon sa kalag ni "Mama/Tiya/Lola DOLORES MILLENA MAUREAL" nga mihalin na ngadto sa langit. Ato usab ihangad atong mga pag ampo alang sa kalig-on sa iyang pamilya ug sa tanang nagmahal kaniya. As ONE FAMILY, let us all join in prayer.

IMPORTANT:

Family, relatives, friends and others whose lives Dolores touched are invited to the St. Peter Chapels, New Imus St., Cebu City at the St. John Chapel, 2nd floor, Tuesday, May 21 through Friday, May 24, 2019 to pray, attend mass, reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course, just chat. Novena starts at 7:00 PM and the mass starts at 8:00 PM. Requiem mass will be at Capitol Parish (Our Lady of the Sacred Heart), N. Escario St, Cebu City on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at 01:00 pm. Dolores will be laid to rest on Saturday, May 25, 2019, 03:00 pm at Cebu Memorial Park, J. Panis St, Cebu City.

LIFE STORY:

Dolores Millena-Maureal was born on March 28, 1947, in Canlusay, Macrohon, Southern Leyte to Diosdado Millena and Asuncion Mibulos. She married the late Atty. Gregorio "Gunding" Maureal in 1966 in Cebu City. She took vocational courses in Dressmaking and Beauty School after high school graduation. She graduated in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Banking and Finance from Cebu College of Commerce, now called University of Cebu. She worked at the Cebu CFI (Court of First Instance) Community Cooperative. Then she worked as a Clerk III in charge of Civil Cases at the former CFI (Court of First Instance) now called RTC (Regional Trial Court) Branch 18, Justice Fernan Legislative Building, Cebu Capitol Compound. She was the first court employee ever to receive an award from RTC as The Best Employee Award in 2009. She retired in 2012. Dolores truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: gardening; cooking; spending time with family especially her younger sister, children, and grandchildren; traveling in Asia, Europe, and the United States and getting involved with church activities. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church Neo-Catechumenate Movement. She is a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Capitol Parish (Our Lady of the Sacred Heart). She is a doting and compassionate mother not only to her blood relatives but to others as well. She is fondly called Mama Dolor by neighbors, and is treated with high regard and addressed as a real Mama to the members of The Focolare Movement, Visca Polyphonics and the entire Maureal Clan and/or The Maureal Blood in the Philippines and the whole world. She is a member of the respected Council of Elders of Maureal Clan Philippines. She is survived by her 9 children, 3 daughters-in-law, 2 sons-in-law, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 sister, and many nieces and nephews
