FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM VERIFIED FOR $$$$!! IS CRYPTO NEXT??

It baffles me how extremely important it is to some brands (and, people for that matter) to have that oh ever elusive verified badge on their social media properties. Don't get me wrong, I realize to many brands, a verification badge represents that they are legitimate businesses to their peers. Yet, it's possible I don't see the true value because I DO have access to FB/IG's VIP group and have verified hundreds of accounts over the past couple of years.

However, to know that some are willing to shell out as high as $15,000 on the "black market" for a verified Instagram account is rather sickening. Even more so to uncover Instagram's own employees were and still are involved in such cash grabs. Maybe there should be a decentralized verification process in the future :)

I've been doing some research surrounding this topic and am curious if there are now similar activities going on through the crypto sector. Have you come across any websites "promising" verifications on socials in exchange for cryptocurrencies? If so, drop a link in the comments.
