There are so many traditions that exist in Indonesia, especially Aceh. One of them is Kenduri Apam.
Kenduri apam doing in Rajab (Arabic month), especially on 27 of Rajab which is commemorated a journey of Isra 'Mi'raj Prophet of Muhammad SAW. At night the people gather at meunasah or mosque.
There is a story about the origin of this festival of kenduri apam. This apam will be cooked and delivered it to the mosque by men who do not pray of Jum'at three times in a row and this as a punishment.
Nowadays, kenduri apam is rarely done by the people of Aceh. Even if done no longer done in meunasah or mosque and done simply. In addition, kenduri apam is different from one region to another in Aceh.
