808 Coin is a tribute to the Roland 808 mixer from the early 80s. The coin itself is proof of stake, generator 808% interest yearly (around 18% weekly). Once upon a time, this was kind of a cool coin to have, when it was still worth a couple of bitcoin satoshis each. Today, it barely trades on some DOGE markets on some sites (Cryptopia , NovaExchange) and is clearly in a downward trend. At the time of this writing, one 808 coin trades for around 0.00009 DOGE) It reminds me a lot of what Sprouts (SPRTS) used to be until not long ago.
The 808 coin is not rock and Rolling so much now, is it?
Still, I think that if you are going to invest in proof of stake coins, it is still better to invest in such low priced ones, at least you get to buy a whole bunch of them. Pricey proof of stake coins tend to lose value rapidly anyways.
