The BTC-e currency exchange, which suspended operations at the end of July due to the arrest of servers at the request of the FBI, reported that the bulk of the assets of the exchange in denominated currency had been arrested.

According to the BTC-e statement published in the Bitcointalk forum, the exchange was able to access its databases and purses.

"At the moment we are assessing the data and balances on koin, this information will be made public by the end of next week."

Also, the exchange reported that the main streams of threads were sent to the service through Mayzus Financial Services Ltd and at the moment they are arrested.

Earlier, Exchange users discussed the possible connection of Mayzus Financial Services, which is registered in Cyprus and owns the trademarks Moneypolo and OKPay, with the management of the BTC-e exchange. One version suggested that one of the owners of the BTC-e exchange is Sergey Mayzus, owner of Mayzus Financial Services, a former Russian politician from the Kaliningrad region and one of the founders of the InstaForex broker, who has lived in the Czech Republic in recent years. But the company OKPay on behalf of Mayzus Financial Services published a refutation of this information, calling it slander and threatening it with the spread of lawsuits. The company of Maysus confirmed that among its clients were found the legal entity associated with BTC-e, and that information about them was transferred to the supervisory authorities, and their accounts were frozen.

"MAYZUS Financial Services Ltd., through the services of MoneyPolo and OKPAY, may have had legal entities - BTC-E exchange operators and / or individuals - owners or employees of the BTC-E exchange among its clients. However, all accounts of legal entities or individuals that, in our opinion, had an attitude to the BTC-E exchange, are blocked, as a result of which the financial regulator is duly notified. In addition, information about these individuals was transferred to law enforcement agencies of Great Britain. "

Recall that on the weekend funds from Ethereum- and Litecoin-purses belonging to the BTC-e exchange were transferred to other addresses. It is still unknown who carried out the transfer - the management of the exchange or the US security forces.

BTC-e, the largest currency exchange in the Russian-language segment and one of the ten largest exchange sites in the world, ceased operations on July 25. As it turned out on July 26, this was due to the fact that the Exchange servers were arrested at the request of the FBI, and in Alexander Vinnik, accused of laundering money obtained by criminal means, for a total of $ 4 billion, was detained in Greece. The US security forces assume that Vinnik was one of the administrators of the BTC-e exchange and was associated with its management. He was fined $ 10 million, the exchange was fined $ 110 million.
