So after several weeks of feeding the Male Red Cardinal bird with sunflower seeds, his new girlfriend began showing up at my window. Always the little lady, she patiently waits on the outside rail, chirping loudly to let me know she's there. And what a gentleman the Male Cardinal is, making sure to feed her. Only problem is, the local Pigeons are on to the gig and are now muscling in. I don't mind feeding them, but they need to play nice. Be kind to the animals in your neighborhood.
