A friend of mine always makes such great pictures of the Hawfinch and I am already very jealous about her beautiful hawfinch pictures from her garden. But finally I was also able to take some pictures of the hawfinch at the wetlands of the Traun River here near Linz. Her pictures of the hawfinch ware still a lot better than mine since she has prepared a little pond with branches and a lot of perfect sitting spots for the birds. On her pictures there are no branches in the way and she as a very nice smooth bokeh as background.
