In order to be competitive, considering the amount currently delegated to @Bid.Bot, the minimum bid has been lowered to 2 STEEM / SBD.
You can now participate to positive and negative bids with only 2 STEEM / SBD, making the bot potentially profitable.
While profitability is not the main mission of the @Bid.Bot initiative, we wish to be competitive and to receive enough bids to pay back our awesome delegators.
The minimum bids will be increased according to the increase of the delegated Steem Power.
In order to make the @Bid.Bot more accessible and balanced the max amount you can send for an upvote has been lowered to 50 STEEM / SBD.
The maximum amount for flags remains 25 STEEM / SBD.
We hope this revision will make the @Bid.Bot bids more accessible and balanced across upvotes and flags.
The minimum time of creation of a post must be exactly 2 hours.
The maximum time from the date of creation has been lowered from 6 days to 3 days.
Such change has been implemented to avoid last-minute upvotes on posts that are very near to the payout limit.

Thanks to help of @justtryme90 the SteemStem blacklist has been added in the custom @Bid.Bot blacklist.
In just one day after the @Bid.Bot release we have been able to double up the delegated Steem Power, reaching 38,000 STEEM POWER.

@Bid.Bot aims to provide solutions to the currently broken promotional system on Steem. While we don't aim to fix all the possible issues at once, we wish to keep developing this system with interesting functionalities, specifically implemented to prevent abuses and overvalued posts.
Our team at @Bid.Bot is working hard to implement a plagiarism checker API meant to spot cases of plagiarised contents and move such bids in quarantine status.
In order to review bids in quarantine status there will be a fallback to manual verification.
@Bid.Bot believes no automated tool can fully prevent abuses. This is where human beings will be helpful.
We wish to release the plagiarism checker API within the next 2 weeks.
