Como creo que es la primera vez que escribo sobre este estilo, primero un poco de teoría:
Una bock, es una cerveza tradicional, oscura, maltosa algo dulce y no muy lupulada. Sus orígenes datan del siglo XIV en la ciudad alemana de Einbeck. Su graduación suele ser elevada, entre 6 y 7 grados. De este estilo originario, surgieron muchos otros como las doppelbock, Eisbock, weizenbock, o en este caso la que yo os traigo hoy, una maibock. Que suele ser más clara en cuanto al color y con un poco más de lúpulo que las bock. Lo que para mí la convierten en unos de mis estilos clásicos favoritos.
Naparbier se ha buscado un acompañante de lujo en la elaboración de esta cerveza. Ya que estos alemanes son toda una institución en el mundo de la cerveza, por historia y calidad de sus productos. El resultado es una maibock de manual. Excelente, con el dulzor y el amargor en perfecta armonía. Muy sabrosa y equilibrada.

As I think it's the first time I write about this style, first a bit of theory:
A bock is a traditional beer, dark, malty, somewhat sweet and not very hoppy. Its origins date back to the fourteenth century in the German city of Einbeck. Its graduation is usually high, between 6 and 7 degrees. Many others emerged from this original style, such as the doppelbock, Eisbock, weizenbock, or in this case the one I am bringing you today, a maibock. Which is usually lighter in color and slightly more hoppy than bock. Which for me makes it one of my favorite classic styles.
