It certainly has sense and it kinda feels like it. With the current trend being that the rich are getting richer with every passing day and the poor are getting poorer also thanks to all of the stuff that happened COVID-related, I feel like more and more people have decided to take a (calculated) 'gamble' and enter the world of crypto.
Take me for example.
As an ex model, I found myself very little on money just before the COVID crisis started. Last January, I was unemployed, with only a finished high school diploma to show for my academic efforts, devoid of vision for the future, living in a small appartment with my mom, no money income etc. Things were looking grim indeed. Safe to say, I was the poorest of the poor.
And then, out of nowhere I guess, I decided to start writing stuff. On the 7th of January (Orthodox Christmas mind you), I joined ko-fi.com, a patreon like website with a donation-based style in order to reward the content creators. And I started writing.
My blog achieved a very interesting rise in popularity among the male population relatively fast, and by the end of March, I already had a stable reader fanbase of around 15 people/day, with donations - or as ko-fi conveniently called them coffees - earning me up to 25-30 €/day.
And then.. mister vortac came allong and changed everything.
He is the one who got me interested in the crypto world, he is the one who slowly but surely made my mind tingle about the mere thought of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano and eventually, HIVE.
Our communication went back and forth until finally, on the 27th of March, another milestone for my post-model journey: I joined ecency.
5 days later, on the second of April, I also constructed and opened my very own blog website. Income has risen, I am currently earning somewhere around 40 €/day thanks to my blog, and I have my crypto assets well in place and still growing.
I believe that more and more people are going to take the calculated risk and gamble. I believe that more and more people will grow desperate at the current economic situation and rise against the system (because hey, crypto is the most anti-system thing out there, or so they say) in order to have a reliable, solid income in place. And guess what?
No better place to start.. than Ecency and HIVE. The future is looking bright - even for us, poor people. 😅
