Summer Holidays 2021- day #8 (Arrifana beach - part2)

Arrifana beach was a great deal for us...we loved the beach and the restaurant Tasca d'Arrifana, and we decided to spend another day at this site.

We reserved a table for lunch and ordered a "Feijoada de polvo com batata doce" (Bean stew with octopus and sweet potatoes).

Usually, the dish does not has sweet potatoe, but in the reagion it is a popular product, and they decided to include in the stew. It was delicious, anyway!!

Ahhhh, my dish of bean stew with white rice (I love the combination, and this was the first round ... there was enough food for a second round!)

The beach is popular for surf classes, but that's not my thing. I opted for relaxation time that included naps and reading moments.

At the golden hour we went for a walk and took some photos of the algae on the beach (I still haven't tried to identify them, but they doesn't seem to have invasive behavior)

On the beach rocks there is life as well, we called it "Cracas e lapas", which seems that can be translated as "barnacles and limpets"

My vacations are almost finishing, but I still have some more photos/ experiences to share.

The summer of 2021 will be remembered as the one when we decided to go out on vacations but had to adjust our plans every day due to Covid 19
