Un rato en la playa / Time on the beach

El día de ayer jueves 28 de marzo, mi día comenzó como siempre desperté a las 5 de la mañana y me puse a trabajar, después de desayunar me fui a comprar pescado, pero compre atún para que mi esposa hiciera una tortilla de atún que les gusta mucho a mis hijas, bueno en realidad nos gusta a todos y más como lo hace mi esposa, puedo decir que es una delicia, después de almorzar un algo exquisito que preparo mi esposa, mi hija menor siempre con sus ocurrencias nos dijo, que fuéramos a playa un rato.

Yesterday, Thursday March 28th, my day began as usual, I woke up at 5 am and went to work, after breakfast I went to buy fish, but I bought tuna for my wife to make a tuna omelet that my daughters like a lot, well actually we all like it and more as my wife makes it, I can say that it is a delight, after lunch something delicious that my wife prepared, my youngest daughter always with her witticisms told us to go to the beach for a while.

No sé, pero sin pensarlo todos dijimos que si, algo que normalmente no hacemos sin planificar previamente, simplemente nos preparamos y nos fuimos a la playa, parece mentira, pero a pesar de que la playa nos queda a unos 10 o 15 minutos en carro, casi nunca vamos, si tal cual casi nunca vamos, será por eso que cuando mi hija hizo la propuesta todos dijimos que sí.

Nos preparamos y nos fuimos una vez que estuvimos en la zona de playa, no fue fácil conseguir un puesto para estacionar el carro, como bien saben es Semana Santa, y es Jueves Santo donde muchas empresas dan el día libre, por esa razón no podía conseguir un puesto para estacionarme, pero de repente alguien estaba desocupando un puesto y como dice mi abuelo lo que es para uno es para uno, me estaciones y nos fuimos a la playa.

I don't know, but without thinking we all said yes, something we normally don't do without previous planning, we just got ready and went to the beach, it seems unbelievable, but even though the beach is about 10 or 15 minutes away by car, we almost never go, yes we almost never go, that's why when my daughter made the proposal we all said yes.

We got ready and left once we were in the beach area, it was not easy to get a place to park the car, as you know it is Easter, and it is Holy Thursday where many companies give the day off, for that reason I could not get a place to park, but suddenly someone was vacating a place and as my grandfather says what is for one is for one, I parked, and we went to the beach.

Puedo decir que la orilla del la playa también estaba con muchas personas disfrutando de la arena y el mar, de hecho no había toldos libres, yo me lleve mi sombrilla playera que tiene más de 18 años conmigo, me la regalo mi hermana cuando ella trabajó en Movilnet, ubicamos un lugar detrás de los toldos y allí prepare el área y puse la sombrilla luego una toalla para que mi esposa y yo nos pudiéramos sentar, mi hija menor apenas llegamos se metió en el mar, luego mi esposa la acompaño.

Mi hija mayor se quedó conmigo debajo de la sombrilla escuchando la música que tenían las personas que estaban frente a nosotros, yo no me metí al agua preferí quedarme debajo de la sombrilla, pero disfrutan de ver a las personas que estaban, vi como los niños estaban jugando y los papas también jugando con ellos, me recordé cuando mis hijas estaban más pequeñas y también jugaba con ellas.

Debo decir que duramos un promedio de una hora y media y a pesar de que no me metí al mar, mis hijas y mi esposa también lo disfrutaron mucho.

I can say that the shore of the beach was also with many people enjoying the sand and the sea, in fact there were no free awnings, I took my beach umbrella that has more than 18 years with me, my sister gave it to me when she worked in Movilnet, we located a place behind the awnings and there I prepared the area and put the umbrella then a towel so that my wife and I could sit, my youngest daughter as soon as we arrived got into the sea, then my wife accompanied her.

My older daughter stayed with me under the umbrella listening to the music that the people in front of us had, I did not get into the water I preferred to stay under the umbrella, but enjoyed watching the people that were there, I saw how the kids were playing and the dads also playing with them, I remembered when my daughters were younger, and I also played with them.

I must say that we lasted an average of an hour and a half and even though I did not go into the sea, my daughters and my wife also enjoyed it very much.

Un rato en la playa fue una tarde diferente, sobre todo para cambiar un poco de la monotonía de mi hogar. Ver como muchas personas estaban alegres tanto adultos como niños, allí tranquilo y sentado me hace feliz, ver a mis hijas y mi esposa disfrutar de esa rica tarde me hace feliz, ver a todas esas personas siendo felices, es eso es felicidad.

No tienes que tener un plan para pasar un rato diferente, ni mucho menos para ser feliz sin planearlo.

A time at the beach was a different afternoon, especially to change a little of the monotony of my home. Seeing how many people were joyful both adults and children, there quiet and sitting there makes me happy, seeing my daughters and my wife enjoying that rich afternoon makes me happy, seeing all those people being happy, that's what happiness is.

You don't have to have a plan to have a different time, much less to be happy without planning it.
