Because of long distance travels and deadlines for my work, I haven't spent so much time on reading & upvoting posts on Steemit these days. I thought it's pity that I didn't use my Steem Power even I bought some STEEM and convert to it last year. Then I thought about selling my vote to @minnowbooster.
I know there is a discussion we shall curate posts manually or not but I myself sometimes ask minnowbooster to upvote my post and it's Mottainai to leave my SP sleeping in my wallet. So it's time for an experiment :)
When I don't upvote many by myself, I automatically receive around 0.2 SBD, which means $1 depending on the SBD rate. I can buy some bananas for our baby (she likes bananas), I can buy almost 1kg of organic flour for baking, and I can invite my family to lunch when I save $1 for a month. I have to pay tax though.
Even my small Steemit account can make it. Someone with much more SP may be able to achieve basic income amount just by selling his/her vote.
Now I'm excited to see some kind of basic income is emerging, which is not given by a government but by a distributed system. Crypto market is not doing well since the beginning of the year but I'm still quite optimistic about cryptos and the blockchain technology behind. I'm happy to dream about our future beyond my imagination :)
Photo: Bread called Zopf or Challah that I bake often for tea time and breakfast. The ingredient cost around 1.2 Euro. Ingredients of simpler bread just with flour, water, salt and yeast cost around 50 cent. It's somehow amazing I can buy the ingredients with my 1-2 days unconditional minnowbooster income.
ここのところ長時間の移動があったり、仕事が立て込んだりであまり Steemit で投稿を読んで upvote してまわれずにいます。以前STEEMを買ってSteem Powerにしたのに放っておくのももったいないなと @minnowbooster という upvote bot に vote を売ってみることにしました。
Steemit はキュレーションメディアなので自分の手で upvoet しないことへの賛否はありますが、私自身 minnowbooster に upvote を依頼することもあるし、資産を眠らせておくのももったいないしで、いざ実験。
SBDのレートにもよりますが、upvote をほとんど任せっぱなしにしておくと0.2SBDほどもらえるようで毎日$1自動的にお小遣いをもらえていることになります。赤ちゃんにバナナを何本か買ったり、パンを焼くためのビオ小麦を1キロ弱買えたり、1ヶ月貯めると家族でランチに行ったりできる額です。なかなかすごい。税金はかかってはきますが。
私のへなちょこアカウントでもこうなので、もっとSPがある人だとベーシックインカムの域までいけるのかもしれません。
そんなこんなでベーシックインカムが政府主導でなく分散型のシステムから始まる兆しを垣間みてわくわくしました。仮想通貨は年始からちょっと元気がないですが、気長に背後にあるブロックチェーン含めおもしろがりながら想像もつかない未来を夢見ることにします :)
余談： 写真のパンはよく作るツォプフ、ハッラーなどと呼ばれるブリオッシュのような生地のパンで、小麦粉300g（32セント）、バター45g（36セント）、卵（25セント）、牛乳120ml（16セント）、砂糖塩イースト少々で材料費は1.2ユーロほどでできます。もっと質素な小麦粉と水と塩とイーストみたいなシンプルなパンだと50セントもかからずにできてしまいます。オーブンの電気代はかかりますが、1-2日分の minnowbooster からのお小遣いでできてしまうと思うと感動なんだか :)
