Back in 2019 I visited the Night of Balloons in Filzmoos / Austria for some photography and enjoying the fireworks and the balloons there. It was a really great evening but also very cold and a lot of people wanted to see the show with the balloons. And even though I had to drive nearly 3 hours to get there I don't regret it. During the about 2 hours the show took place I was able to take several pictures of the balloons and the fireworks there.
Because there where a lot people attending this event I had to look for some place that was a bit more exposed and not so crowded. After the Ballon show there was still a big party with Snow Disco and some kind of Après Party.

This was before the COVID-19 Pandemic and it was really crowded there with people, especially within the afterparty section. Due to the Covid Restrictions shows like this are not possible at the moment, at least not in this size and with a lot of restrictions. I hope we soon have overcome this shitty COVID situation and something like this will be possible in the early future. It is not that I really like to be in a crowded situation with a lot of people but somehow I miss events like this.
