Those Bots are made for voting?

While others and me make real Fruit Of Work, FOW, it appears that there are bots that pluck most of the Steem Power. And most Steemers allready know 'the famous one'. Who's name we shall not say out loud. If you have ever checked the balance of this bot's account then you'll know this is beyond the magnitude of 'whale'. Now, kudos are in place, or not, what do you think? Because it must be coded in quite a smart manner, but with a certain lack of artificial intelligence. (Don't tell me you never replied to 'it'...)

Get codin'!

And why complain, right? Because when you get an up vote by a certain 'bot' you'll get some Steem Power in the end. The bigger the whale, the heavier the load and some of it might rub off on your post and/ or reply. Giving you some Steem-Power and Dollar at the end of a 24 hour round. So, if you get lucky, you'll get at least an upvote from a 'whale-bot' that you might cash in on at a later stage. Is it fair? In a meristocrative way you could say it is. The smartest proved to be so and took all the rewards for it, kind of as a Fruit Of Work.

In an Ethereum way they would get coding on a hard fork right away. But maybe it is not as bad as the split-loop trick done on The DAO. Not at all I think, it seems like taking advantage of a system that is able to give this almost as a service. At SteemD you could imagine how this could be done, without doing any real harm to the system overall. And now I do wonder what kind of side effect these 'bots' actually could have on the whole of the Steem realm. This 'trick' seems to be very profitable, even if 'Powering down' goes very slow, 960 a week is good dough to cash in on, right? Otherwise, why bother to 'bot' this way?*

It seems to be a side effect, or it might serve a real purpose, some kind of a plan for the good. What do you think about these 'bots' and their effects on the Steem realm?

In the mean time, guess I'll just keep on moving, plucking my own Fruit Of Work.

Have a nice an fruitfull day.

*[EDIT] Note on the powering down proces, it could be automated from Steem Backed Dollar {SBD} to Steem to Steem Power {SP} again, off course.
