This legislation is flawed as gun show and internet sales already are required to,prior to the completion of your purchase of a firearm, federal law requires that you have a photo ID and to fill out ATF Form 4473, otherwise known as the Firearms Transaction Record. All purchases of firearms are subject to current federal regulations. Every aspect of my firearm ownership, purchase, carry, and transfer is federally regulated. That the Democrats assert otherwise is irresponsibly misleading and disingenuous. You are right to call out and question the motive of those who falsely state otherwise.
