Does anyone else feel like so often we only truly celebrate some ones talents only once they pass away?

Does anyone else feel like so often we only truly celebrate some ones talents only once they pass away?

In the past year we have lost so many talented stars ….
Actors, actresses, singers, producers, comedians, sportspersons & musicians and it’s only once they’re gone do we truly celebrate their success..

Yesterday we lost the great Garry Marshall aged 81 who wrote, created, directed and acted in some of the most amazing movies/tv shows ever made including Pretty Woman, The Princess Diaries, The Odd Couple, Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Mork and Mindy to name only few….
I am sad to say, I had not even heard of Garry Marshall until yesterday and only once he had passed… Obviously such a talented man who probably didn’t get the recognition he deserved until it was too late..
Sometimes it’s too late to appreciate people..

Recently losing David Bowie, Prince, Ronnie Corbett, Robin Williams, Alan Rickman, Muhammad Ali, Garry Shandling and Glenn Frey just highlighted to me just how much talent there is in the world and how important it is to appreciate them….

I guess sometimes you never miss your water, til you’re dry
