The first stone of the ice factory in Indonesia


Import ice cubes from Boston to Indonesia continued for 25 years until 1870. Afterwards, an ethnic Chinese named Kwa Wan Hong opened the first factory of ice cubes in Indonesia in Semarang, Central Java.
