Having been working as a tour guide in Central Vietnam for 7 years before the pandemic, I was like a fish taken out of water when the virus hit tourism. It was hard because I could not do what I love, travel where I like and you know, I was like in the prison of my mind. Finally, I have started painting to relieve my feeling and I do not know how I fall in love with colors and palette.
I am inspired by landscapes where I have been or I would love to travel to. It is a way to teleport my mind to a destination and deep my soul in colorful emotions. I choose acrylic colors which are easy to use but with great effects. Mixing colors is the part I like most when it reflects my mood at that that moment, it reflects me.
This picture is Chuon Lagoon near Hue City, Vietnam where local people earn for living by farming and fishing aquatic products. Seafood and the landscapes are perfect combination for everyone. Moreover, it is also famous for rice liquor. Nothing better a sip of liquor and a brush on hand...
