In the last 10 years I've been pretty big into Jewelry Making. I've actually decided this year to start selling my jewelry, as I actually don't wear any jewelry it was just going to waste boxed up here.
Art is a huge part of my life, so naturally crafting was just a nice way to explore related hobbies. It's my passion and my zen.
I've basically dabbled in almost every medium since I was a child. Crafting was also just a natural thing in my life.
I'm big into painting and charcoal, but as a mother I never seem to have time or energy to get that messy. So I enjoy my weekend & holiday crafting with my daughter. Its something fun we can do to share our creativity with each other.
Christmas is always my biggest crafting season. I love making people gifts rather than buying something commercial.
From Christmas Wreaths to Coaster, Jewelry, Magnets, Frames, pillows and more. I love trying it all.
I must confess i'm a Pinterest lover!
Being crafty is fun for me. I love to explore and try new things. To make the old new again and Recycle something that would otherwise be taking up room in a land fill.
This year I even got into crochet, and yes its not an old lady's hobby. It's actually very relaxing and harder than it looks.
I'm even eager to get into knitting and needle point by the end of this year. Maybe even some quilting or patchwork. As crazy as it may sound, its all pretty exciting and fun for me.
