The Green Faerie comes closer,
Ever elusive,
Ever quick,
Always ready to take off.
She is enticing,
Mesmerizing,
Beautiful,
And hypnotizing.
You drink her in.
You imbibe
Her nectar of seemingly infinite pleasure.
The night is wild,
It spins with gaiety,
And frivolity,
And empty meaningless passion.
You dance with her,
Intoxicated by her allure,
Dazzled by her mystic pulchritude.
All night
Around
And around
And around.
And then off
Like a dragonfly she buzzes.
Out of the night,
Out of your life,
Out of your mind.
And you are left
With a headache
And a sore stomach.
