Tried painting a violin today.
Just used two colours here Indigo and Seinna in different values.
Came out nicely. But the struggle was to sketch it properly.
I do freehand sketches no grids or rules. Tools some while to get it to shape coz never had been sketching so accurate recently. Below is the sketch. Not perfect, but it's Watercolor!
And here you can see my first draft of the sketch.. more of a guitarin 😁
