The next bridge over the Griboedov Canal that we will visit is Kharlamov Bridge. The bridge received its name by the name of the state councilor Kharlamov, who lived in a house next door.

In 1753 a piled wooden one-span beam bridge was built on this site. At the beginning of the 19th century, the bridge was rebuilt into a wooden one-span but supported by a pavement lined with granite.
Only in 1934 a modern ferro-concrete bridge was built. The project was led by a professor, bridge engineer Grigory Petrovich Peredery.
