Hello Steemians, I've finally finished my university exams for good, I'm seeing the light outside the tunnel and I'm gonna be an egyptologist soon.
While everybody was enjoying their summer, I was studying for my exams, and my summer time is just started. Is not so sad as it seems, of course I can't get a Californian tan, but September is that time of the year when all the art shows, exhibitions, theater shows start.
I was invited to an inauguration of a contemporary art show in Parma; Colin, the director of an art magazine, insert of one of the most famous Italian newspaper, the "Corriere della Sera", is the main artist.
The title is "Family Constellations" and will be available until December, moreover the are art pieces of other artist, the most famous between them is Schifano.
"Family Constellations" is a journey through History of Art, from ancient paintings, reshaped in a modern way, to the avant-garde of '800 and '900, it is a tribute and a journey through all the masterpieces and artists that had influenced Colin's art.
For example, these newspapers scattered around the room force the visitor to walk around through them, these newspapers symbolically represent the “Culture”, and the walking through is symbolically a journey through the cultures around the world.
Although personally I don't estimate contemporary art, for my ignorance for sure, this show was inspiring; it was stimulating having this journey inside Colin's mind and it led me to make myself a question; which are my personal “Family Constellations”? As every human being on the Earth, I have my personal models, idols and influences that made me the person I am today, and I'm not talking about only artistic models, but also musicians, writers and all those beautiful people out there that inspired me with their works and words.
And you? Which are your “Family Constellations”? Which masterpieces and people have influenced you most?

Salve steemians, finalmente ho finito gli esami, vedo la luce in fondo al tunnel e, non appena avrò finito la tesi, sarò un'egittologa a tutti gli effetti.
Mentre tutti si godevano l'estate, io ho continuato a studiare per la sessione di settembre e l'estate per me inizia ora che è finita. Potrebbe sembrare una cosa un po' triste da dire, ma alla fine non è così male essere in ferie ora, certo non posso più contare sul mare e anche quest'anno ci si abbronza l'anno prossimo, però Settembre è un periodo pieno di fermento culturale.
In questo periodo ricominciano le rassegne, le mostre, le fiere, gli spettacoli teatrali; ho inaugurato la mia stagione culturale con la prima mostra dell'anno.
Sono stata invitata all'inaugurazione di una mostra di arte contemporanea a Parma; nella cornice del bellissimo Palazzo del Governatore nella splendida Piazza Garibaldi, è stata allestita la mostra di Colin, il direttore dell'inserto d'arte del Corriere della Sera, nonché artista contemporaneo.
l titolo è "Costellazioni familiari" e sarà aperta al pubblico fino a Dicembre, inoltre, insieme alle opere di Colin, sono esposti anche alcuni pezzi del più famoso Schifano.
"Costellazioni familiari" è un viaggio attraverso la storia dell'arte, dalle opere antiche, rimodellate in chiave moderna,, passando per Gaugin, agli avanguardisti del '800 e '900; è un viaggio attraverso tutte le opere e gli artisti che hanno formato e influenzato la produzione artistica di Colin.
Per esempio, queste pile di quotidiani sparsi per la stanza, costringono lo spettatore a camminarci attraverso per poter ammirare le opere, e simbolicamente rappresenta un viaggio attraverso le culture.
Nonostante personalmente non apprezzi tantissimo l'arte contemporanea, e sicuramente per mia ignoranza, è stato ispirante fare questo viaggio nella mentre di Colin, perché mi ha spinto a pormi una domanda; Quali sono le mie "Costellazioni Familiari"? Sebbene non sia un'artista, io, come chiunque altro nel mondo, ho i miei modelli, i miei idoli e le mie personali influenze che mi hanno reso quello che sono oggi. E non sto parlando soltanto di capolavori artistici davanti i quali ti si scioglie il cuore, ma anche di musicisti, scrittori, pensatori e in genere tutte quelle meravigliose persone che mi hanno ispirata nella vita con le loro parole e con le loro opere.
E voi? Quali sono le vostre Costellazioni che vi hanno formato?
