Children's mosaics with magazines.

Hello everyone, I hope you are very well. This time I want to share with you my "Final Art", which is the final and most important delivery in the cut of one of my practical artistic subjects. I want to show them to you because it was a delivery that generated an emotional charge in me.

At the time it generated stress, anxiety and the feeling of not wanting to move forward for different reasons, such as the long time it takes to paste square by square in contrast to the little time I had to deliver it, the other evaluations I had to do, among other things . But despite that and of all the long nights I learned that sometimes it is worth to make a great effort and sacrifice free hours or hours of sleep to obtain a satisfactory result, because
the result was a job very well appreciated by my colleagues and teachers.

The indications were to make 4 mosaics, two with children's themes and two with juvenile or regular theme, each of the mosaics had to have the different alignments (centered, justified, to the right and to the left) and they should be original illustrations.

First you start with the sketch of what you want to capture, I did it on paper delivery sketch with a pencil 2h

The next step is to cut the squares for the mosaic, I decided to use magazines because thanks to the diversity of tones you can find, very nice effects are achieved and is recycling. So only the pages with the tones to be used are chosen. The technique that I used and which in my opinion is more practical, is to cut out a rectangle and cut the strips and then the squares, calculating that they measure from 0.3 to 0.5 cm.

From the sketch the drawing is drawn on a cardboard and it begins to fill square by square avoiding that they are separated or very crowded. I glued them with white glue and with the help of a tweezers.
