DE MI:
Mi nombre es Camila De Sousa pero todos me dicen Cami y tengo once años, soy del signo Acuario (por cierto, mi mami es la mejor astróloga que existe y siempre me habla de mi signo, la luna, los planetas y de muchisisisimas cosas interesantes).
Les cuento de mí, nací en Venezuela, sin embargo, por el trabajo de mi mamá, desde muy chica me ha tocado viajar a varios países. Me encanta dibujar y aunque realmente no recuerdo cuando me empezó a gustar, recuerdo que comencé copiando dibujos de Pinterest; en aquel momento, mis dibujos me parecían obras de arte (y de cierto modo me siguen pareciendo), pero nunca los publiqué (puede que pronto los comparta con ustedes).
Ahora bien, con el tiempo, mis estándares han aumentado y soy muy exigente conmigo misma, la mayoría del tiempo le encuentro fallas a mis dibujos, aunque mi mamá me diga que están perfectos. 😂

ABOUT ME:
My name is Camila De Sousa but everyone calls me Cami and I´m eleven years old, I´m an Aquarian (by the way, my mommy is the best astrologer that exists and she always talks to me about my sign, the moon, the planets and many interesting things).
Let me tell you about myself, I was born in Venezuela, however, because of my mom's job, since I was very young I have had to travel to several countries. I love to draw and although I don't really remember when I started to like it, I do remember that I started copying drawings from Pinterest; at that time my drawings seemed like artwork to me (and in a way they still do), but I never published them (I may soon share them with you).
Now, over time, my standards have increased and I'm very picky with myself, most of the time I find fault with my drawings, even if my mom tells me they are perfect. 😂
Mi estilo es un poco clásico, uso lentes desde que estaba muy pequeña, no me gusta usar jeans, ni chaquetas o suéteres, no suele darme frío casi nunca así que no necesito usar suéter!!!!!! luego cuando alguien me ve dice: que está haciendo mucho frio y yo tipo “amm yo no tengo”,😐. Definitivamente prefiero el frio que el calor.
No tengo mucho sentido del humor, mi mamá dice que es porque tomo las cosas muy literal y no entiendo el sarcasmo e incluso hay veces que me molesto si me hacen una broma.
My style is a bit classic, I wear glasses since I was very young, I don't like to wear jeans, nor jackets or sweaters, I don't usually get cold, almost never so I don't need to wear sweater!!!!!! then when someone sees me they say: “it's very cold cold”, I think "amm I don't have any",😐. I Definitely prefer cold than hot.
I don't have much a sense of humor, my mom says it's because I take things very literally and I don't understand sarcasm and even sometimes when I get upset if someone make a joke on me.

Me encantan las aves y las mariposas. Tengo un diploma de pajarera junior (es el fundamento básico para observar aves e identificarlas), que obtuve en mi colegio cuando estuve viviendo en Bogotá; de las mariposas solo sé sobre su aporte al ecosistema como polinizadoras, pero aun así me encantan.
Odio a las arañas y me dan mucho miedo, aunque sea una pequeña.
Me encantan la comida dulce tanto la salada, Amo los panqueques con lo que sea y el chocolate caliente, ah y también me gustan mucho los batidos. Mi comida favorita es el risotto y el arroz con pollo y salsa de champiñones.
En el camino de la ilustración conocí el Anime y la ilustración con influencia japonesa. Este tipo de animación (la cual me encanta, en especial la de terror y misterio) me cambio mi forma de pensar y de dibujar. Fue entonces que decidí que me quedaría con ese estilo.
Generalmente para mis creaciones, uso el estilo de arte tradicional, dibujar con estilógrafo e ilustrar con acuarelas, que, aunque me da pereza hacerlo, personalmente creo que me quedan muy bien los dibujos.
Espero pronto utilizar con más frecuencia el arte digital (más adelante les mostraré algunas cosas que he hecho). Mis colores favoritos son el azul el rojo y el blanco o plateado
I love birds and butterflies.I have a Junior Aviary Diploma (it is the basic foundation to observe birds and identify them), which I got in my school when I was living in Bogotá; about butterflies, I only know about their contribution to the ecosystem as pollinators, but I still love them.
I hate spiders and they scare me a lot, even if I am a small one.
I love sweet food as much as salty food, I love pancakes with anything and hot chocolate. I also love milkshakes. My favorite food is risotto and rice with chicken and mushroom sauce.
In the path of illustration I met with Anime and Japanese influenced illustration. . This type of animation (I love it, especially horror and mystery) changed my way of thinking and drawing. It was then that I decided to stick with that style.
Generally for my creations, I use the traditional art style, drawing with a stylograph and illustrating with watercolors, although it makes me lazy to do it, I personally think the drawings with watercolors look very good.
I hope to use digital art more often soon (later, I will show you somethings that I have done). My favorite colors are blue, red, white and silver.
Ahora bien, mi anime favorito por su tipo de ilustración y la trama se llama “Kakegurui” (más adelante les conversare algo de esto)

This is my favorite Anime series and it's called KAKEGURUI.
Me gusta mucho leer, conozco la mayoría de los mitos griegos, mi favorito es “Eco y Narciso”.
También me gusta aprender idiomas, actualmente se español, inglés avanzado y estoy estudiando alemán, pienso estudiar francés, portugués y japonés, no hay mucha música en español que me guste, así que eso también me ha ayudado a mejorar mi inglés.
Cuando no estoy dibujando, escuchando música o leyendo, me gusta mucho buscar que nuevos animes y verlos una y otra vez.
Finalmente, les cuento que me gusta mucho escuchar música y todo lo que hago suelo hacerlo, escuchando música. Mi tipo de música favorita es la música a la que muchos le dicen “retro”. Mi canción favorita actualmente no es vieja, pero tiene ese estilo y se llama “all eyes on me” de una artista no tan conocida (pero debería) llamada “Or3o”.
I love to read anything, I know most of the greek myths, my favorite one is "Echo and Narcissus".
I also like to learn languages, currently I know Spanish, advanced English and I'm studying German, I plan to study French, Portuguese and Japanese, there is not much music in Spanish that I like, so that has also helped me to improve my English.
When I'm not drawing, listening to music or reading, I really like to look for new anime and watch them over and over again.
Finally, I like to listen to music and everything I do, I usually do it listening to music. My favorite type of music is what many people call “retro music”. My current favorite song is not old, but it has that style and it is called "all eyes on me" from Non-famous artist (but it should be) called "Or3o".

DE MIS TRABAJOS
Como les conté, adoro el arte y la pintura en general y de hecho, es por lo que estoy acá. Deseo compartir con todos ustedes, que al igual que yo que disfrutan el arte y la pintura, mis pinturas y creaciones.
Les cuento, pintar pareciera más sencillo de lo que es y a mi corta edad, he experimentado muchas sensaciones, unas muy cool y otras no tanto, sin embargo, el balance al final del día siempre es favorable.
Como todo Artista, tengo bloqueos creativos (si así puede llamarse a este fenómeno), me paso la mayor parte del día pensando en que dibujar para luego en la tarde o noche bloquearme, sin embargo, cuando encuentro la musa y el estilógrafo toca la hoja todo fluye rápidamente.
ABOUT MY WORKS
As I told you, I love art and painting anything and in fact, that is why I am here. I want to share with all of you, who like me enjoy art and painting, my paintings and creations.
I tell you, painting seems easier than it is and at my young age, I have experienced many sensations, some very cool and others not so much, however, the balance at the end of the day is always favorable.
Like all artists, I have creative blocks (if you can call this phenomenon), I spend most of the day thinking about what to draw and then in the afternoon or evening I get blocked, however, when I find the muse and the stylus touches the sheet everything flows quickly.
En general, me gusta mucho el terror, ver casos policiacos, historias de terror y leyendas y por supuesto, los animes de terror. Actualmente además de dibujar de forma libre, estoy creando un manga (manga se refiere a los comics creados en Japón). Ahora mismo, estoy en la fase de creación de los personajes y el desarrollo de la historia, ya por acá los iré poniendo al tanto de todo; verán que será geniaaaaal.
En términos generales, el único lugar donde expongo mis dibujos es en la red social: Instagram. Mi cuenta es @camikirari; tiene ese nombre debido a mi personaje de Anime favorita, que es Kirari Momobami de Kakegurui.
I really like horror, watching police cases, horror stories and legends and of course, horror anime. At the moment, besides drawing in a free way, I'm creating a manga (manga refers to comics created in Japan). Right now, I'm in the phase of creating the characters and the development of the story, so I'll keep you updated on everything; you'll see that it's going to be great.

Antes de empezar a dibujar tenía un canal de Youtube, Camila De Sousa Vergara, en donde relataba biografías de mujeres, historias, leyendas griegas, entre otras cosas.

Me gusta mucho crear personajes y tener la libertad de hacerlos tal como yo quiera y por lo general, mis dibujos son personajes, no hago muchos paisajes.
No tengo muchos amigos que dibujen o que vean anime así que le muestro todos mis dibujos a mi mamá; a todos lados llevo mis dibujos y mi cartuchera e implementos para dibujar.
A mi mama le encanta enseñarle mis dibujos a todos sus amigos y conocidos, lo cual me da un poco de pena, pero si no fuera por eso y por Instagram, creo que nadie sabría que dibujo .
No soy de hacer muchos fanarts o dibujos con referencias, la mayoría de mis creaciones son con inspiración propia.
I really like to create characters and to have the freedom to make them the way I want and usually my drawings are characters, I don't draw a lot of landscapes.
I don't have many friends who draw or watch anime so I show all my drawings to my mom; everywhere I go I carry my drawings and my pencil case and drawing implements.
My mom loves to show my drawings to all her friends, which makes me a little embarrassed, but if it wasn't for that and Instagram, I don't think anyone would know that I draw
I don't make many fanarts or drawings with references, most creations are with my own inspiration.
A medida que he perfeccionado el arte de dibujar he empezado a crear mi propio estilo de ilustración, me gusta mucho dibujar personajes fuera de lo normal pero también me gusta hacer dibujos con un toque de ternura, muy especialmente personajes tiernos con un toque siniestro 😈
Últimamente he considerado que sobre pienso mucho las cosas y a menudo me preocupo porque la mayoría de mis dibujos son nada más de la cara o el tronco y no suelo hacer muchos fondos elaborados, pero igual me gusta mucho lo que hago.
As I have perfected the art of drawing I have started to create my own style of illustration, I really like to draw characters out of the ordinary but I also like to do drawings with a touch of tenderness, most especially tender characters with a sinister touch😈 .
Lately, I have found that I overthink things a lot and often worry that most of my drawings are just the face or the trunk and I don't tend to do a lot of elaborate backgrounds, but I still really like what I do.
One of my creations that has tenderness but also a touch of wickedness.😈
El estilo manga en blanco y negro es uno de mis favoritos, aunque me gusta improvisar y agregarle unos toques de color.
Para realizar mis dibujos no uso muchos materiales, únicamente utilizo lápiz, sacapuntas, borrador, plumilla y a veces acuarelas, la mayoría de los dibujos que me encantan y los amo, los termino arruinando al final 😞, cuando comienzo un scketchbook suelo no terminarlo y empiezo uno nuevo, pero respiro y pienso, petit à petit.

The manga style in black and white is one of my favorites, although I like to improvise and add some touches of color.
To make my drawings I don't use many materials, I only use pencil, pencil sharpener, eraser, pen and sometimes watercolors, most of the drawings I love, I ruin them at the end😞, when I start a sketchbook I usually don't finish it and start a new one, but I take a breath and think, petit à petit.
