Hello dear Steeminions!
The year starts creatively of course, at FancyPetLand ! _ and I'm going to share with you a mini postcard-size painting I have started this morning.
Painting is not over yet but I will show you in pictures the different steps of what I have done so far ;-)
L'année débute de façon créative bien sûr à FancyPetLand! _ et je vais partager avec vous une mini peinture au format carte postale que j'ai commencée ce matin.
Elle n'est pas encore terminée mais je vais vous montrer les différentes étapes en image de ce que j'ai déjà effectué jusque là ;-)
Here is the first bird I have painted on a separate sheet using my water-soluble pastels Neocolor II, as usual
Tout d'abord voici le 1er oiseau que j'ai peint sur une feuille à part en utilisant mes pastels Néocolor II hydrosolubles, comme à mon habitude
Here I draw the second bird with a pencil
Ici je dessine le second oiseau au crayon
And I color it the same way but in orange this time.
The Faber Castell feltpen is used to draw and accentuate shadows
Et je le peins de la même façon mais en orange cette fois.
Le crayon Faber Castell me sert à dessiner et accentuerles ombres
Then I prepare my background on this thick fine art paper that has a postcard format,
and on which I previously painted a layer of white gesso.
I draw a heart with pink Neocolor II
Ensuite je prépare mon arrière plan sur ce papier d'art épais au format carte postale
surlequel j'ai au préalable passé une couche de gesso blanc.
Je dessine un coeur au Neocolor II rose
I spread the color with a wet brush
J'étale la couleur avec un pinceau humide...
I create a green background with two shades including a darker one
Je réalise un fond vert avec deux teintes dont une plus foncée
And I use a stencil and a wet rag with which I wipe the color through the shapes ...
Et j'utilise un pochoir et un chiffon humide avec lequel j'essuie la couleur au travers des formes ...
And here is where I am today ... The sequel to come later! ;-)
