Contest - Wednesday - architecturalphotography " Carlo Goldoni's house in Venice" Captured By @alequandro

This is my entry for @juliank + @photocontests Architectural Photography Contest.

During one of my visits to Venice I passed in front of the house of Carlo Goldoni, the famous writer, Italian playwright who lived in 1700.
It is famous for its dedication to the world of theater.

Carlo Goldoni owes his fame, in addition to the various works he wrote, to the reform of the theater.
Before the "Goldonian" reform there was another type of theater: the comedy suddenly, in which the actors did not have a written text to study and to follow during the performances, but only a general track to follow, called a canvas. Carlo Goldoni was the first to want a text written entirely for each actor.
In 1738 he composed a work of which he wrote entirely the part of the protagonist (the momolo cortesan) and, in 1743 he staged the first play with a text entirely written (the woman of grace).

In this photo I captured the entrance hall with the private well and the staircase leading to the artist's apartment.
I was struck by the atmosphere of the environment, the natural light and the shadows that gave a feeling of melancholy harmony.
