Today, while taking an English lesson, I got to thinking about my experience using the Duolingo app over the past few years. The main question I asked myself was whether I have learned anything regarding the English language or any of the other languages I am currently learning. So, today I decided to do a review about it.

Features
There are more than 35 languages that you can learn with this app. I currently take lessons in English only but in the past, I have also taken lessons in French, Italian and Spanish. I recently decided that I would finish my lessons in one language and then start a new one.
The application has short lessons where you can practice pronunciation, vocabulary, among others. They have also added a section of short stories that test the knowledge you have been acquiring.
My Review
Due to my limited time available Duolingo is a super effective option for me. I can learn by deciding how much time I am going to dedicate to it which I find super important. I have been using it for about 8 years and sometimes I spend long periods without practicing but I always come back to download it.
Currently, the repertoire of lessons is quite large. I still rely on the translator, but it has helped me learn new words and their pronunciation, and I have also learned phrases. I have downloaded other apps in the past and none of them I have used as much as Duolingo. It is not an app to master the language but it will help you to take your first steps in it.

Hoy, mientras tomaba una clase de inglés, me puse a pensar en mi experiencia usando la aplicación Duolingo en los últimos años. La pregunta principal que me hice fue si he aprendido algo con respecto al idioma inglés o a cualquiera de los otros idiomas que estoy aprendiendo actualmente. Así que hoy he decidido hacer una reseña al respecto.

Características
Hay más de 35 idiomas que puedes aprender con esta aplicación. Actualmente tomo lecciones en inglés solamente, pero en el pasado, también he tomado lecciones en francés, italiano y español. Hace poco decidí que terminaría mis lecciones en un idioma y luego empezaría uno nuevo.
La aplicación tiene lecciones cortas en las que se puede practicar la pronunciación y el vocabulario, entre otras cosas. También han añadido una sección de historias cortas que ponen a prueba los conocimientos que has ido adquiriendo.
Mi reseña
Debido a mi limitado tiempo disponible Duolingo es una opción súper efectiva para mí. Puedo aprender decidiendo el tiempo que le voy a dedicar lo cual me parece super importante. Lo uso desde hace unos 8 años y a veces paso largos periodos sin practicar pero siempre vuelvo a descargarlo.
Actualmente, el repertorio de lecciones es bastante amplio. Sigo confiando en el traductor, pero me ha ayudado a aprender nuevas palabras y su pronunciación, y también he aprendido frases. He descargado otras aplicaciones en el pasado y ninguna de ellas la he utilizado tanto como Duolingo. No es una app para dominar el idioma pero te ayudará a dar tus primeros pasos en él.
