Meet Sage, my stoic ram. He is a pure bred Shetland ram, in his third year of life. He actually wags his tail when you pet his head. He does a great job of breeding the ewes every year, and protecting them. He weighs about 300 pounds. I use his wool to spin into yarn and then dye and weave cloth with it. He is my favorite sheep out of our little flock of seven, because he's so pretty and because he is the only one who lets us pet him....
