Ground squirrels in the low grass

One of the cutest animals here in Austria are Ground Squirrels, they live in lower Austria, Vienna and the "Burgenland", and I really like to visit them. This Year I only had time to visit them once in July because I was on bird photography trips during the other weekends. Because I have a new job and not so much holiday yet, i also only had some days at the mountains for my summer holiday. I already showed you some pictures of this summer's trip to the ground squirrels, but they are so cute that I need to show some more pictures of them.

I really enjoy visiting these beautiful and cute animals every time. I really like how they trust me and come really close. It is always a good Idea to bring them some seeds that they like to eat. So you can get even closer. Another thing I like about this place is that there is a nice bakery nearby where we can get very good food every time.
