Ancient African Universities

From the beginning of the great civilisations in Africa (Kemet, Nubia, Kush, Axum, Ghana, Mali, Kilwa etc.) over 4000 years, many universities (temples) thrived and foreigner came to study there. The subjects and standards have been copied by modern universities the world over.
