The 42 anarchists to be following on Steemit (Version 2.0, Fall 2017 Editions) ( Resteem)

image

I wrote my original list: "The 40 Anarchists to follow on Steemit" almost a year and a half ago, and it seemed like a good time to do a 2.0 version, considering that there are quite a few new folks that fit the list perfectly, almost half of the original list have left/gone silent on the platform, the other one is so old that nobody's going to find it without digging through my old content, and of course our population of Steemians is more than 10x what it was back then, meaning there are a LOT of folks who are probably looking for good content creators to follow. Not to mention I've got more than 5 times the followers now that I did back then, so hopefully this list will get more views, and everyone on it will end up getting more followers.

The first version was more flashy, with each author having an image or video with their description, but a lot of people told me all that media was actually causing their computers to have an issue opening the post, so I went with just text this time.

In order to help strengthen the community here on Steemit, and make sure that the wonderful anarchist content continues to get the viewership it deserves even as the platform grows, I compiled this list of wonderful freedom-minded content creators. I put it in alphabetical order so as not to be preferential, and to encourage reading the whole thing :-)

Obviously I'm not totally un-biased, most of the folks on this list are my friends, though I have done my digging and searching, finding many other anarchist content-creators on our platform (many more on my original list were people I don't know, but they left the platform). With the ever-growing flow of content on Steemit, it's harder and harder to keep up, and I'm sorry if I missed you or some creator you greatly enjoy; please feel free to comment below if that is the case so people can find you/them.

I only included those who are still active (within the last week) on the main list, with another batch of less active folks down at the bottom of this post.

Let's begin...

@adamkokesh

Introduceyourself

Many of you will already know Adam from his series Adam vs. The Man, his book FREEDOM!, or his hundreds of YouTube videos. He is an ex-marine, who joined the Iraq Veterans Against the War after his two tours of duty, and has been a full-time activist for the past decade. I've had the honor of cooking at Adam's 'Freedom Farm' for a few week long events, and am excited to see what comes of his Kokesh For Not President run in 2020, where he will the Libertarian Party's presidential candidate, on the platform of a peaceful, orderly, and responsible dissolution of the federal government. He is also the first (of many) folks on this list who speak at the annual Anarchapulco conference.

@aggroed

Introduceyourself

Aggroed is an enigmatic activist, the most community-activating witness, and a battle-rapper to boot! His current series: Peace Academy is awesome, he created the @minnowsupport project, the biggest community on our platform, and he does a LOT of work to support and promote the "little guys". Don't forget to give him a witness vote if you like what he's about.

@canadian-coconut

Introduceyourself

Your number 1 source for vaccine danger awareness, from her own posts and from her feed & following list, @canadian-coconut is doing great work on the platform, helping an important issue have a voice. Linda is "anarchist-leaning", but I feel like it's just a matter of time before she fully identifies with the term ;-) She's part of the @minnowsupport project as well, and usually available on their Discord server.

@catherinebleish

Introduceyourself

Cat is a traveling anarchist unschooling mama! You may also know her as The Homestead Guru, and her content is full of information to help you live a more sovereign life, including herbal medicine, DIY projects, permaculture, and much, much more.

@churdtzu / @paradise-paradox

Introduceyourself

This is the feed of the amazing Kurt David Robinson, a rapper, crypto-geek, truth-seeking australian ex-pat. Kurt has performed at all 3 years of the Anarchapulco conference, and his song "To Acapulco" was used in the promos for 2016. An interview I did with @churdtzu was my introduction to Steemit, and his article "Steemit's new economic paradigm..." won me over to joining the platform. At this point, he has been mostly posting from the account for his podcast: @paradise-paradox, but it's a good idea to follow both just in case.

@corbettreport

Introduceyourself

I'm guessing most of you have heard of James Corbett, and his Corbett Report, where he's been consistently releasing great content for over a decade. Those of you who were at the 2015 Anarchapulco will remember his amazingly entertaining and hopeful short play, featuring two characters and only him as the cast :-) I highly, highly recommend his recent 2-part documentary series: "How Big Oil Conquered the World" & "Why Big Oil Conquered the World" (as well as the follow up "What is Sustainable Development"). I consider James to be one of the best journalists on the planet. His research is wonderful, he is constantly creating content, and he's not afraid to talk about anything.

@dbroze

Introduceyourself

You'll recognize Derrick Broze as the face of the Conscious Resistance Network and the creator of the Houston Free Thinkers, and he's also the co-author of 3 books with @johnvibes: The Conscious Resistance: Reflections on Anarchy & Spirituality & Finding Freedom in an Age of Confusion1 & 2. For years, Derrick has been an investigative journalist, a community organizer, a musician, and an awesome human!

@doitvoluntarily

Introduceyourself

This guy is just awesome, posting well-made content on topics including CBD, gardening, NVC, 3D printers, and boxing. I've watched @doitvoluntarily go from a penny or two per post (when I posted the first version of this list), to consistently earning well.

@dollarvigilante / @jeffberwick

introduceyourself

I would guess that most all of you know Jeff Berwick, and many of you are probably even here because of his success on this platform. You can find Jeff's work on The Dollar Vigilante & his podcast: Anarchast! He is also the founder of Anarchapulco, which I recommend you ALL attend this winter if you can. He's now using the TDV account for his podcast mostly, and has started using his personal account for things to do with his journey of healing.

@dragonanarchist

Introduceyourself

Next up is Amanda Rachwitz, the Dragon Anarchist! I first discovered Amanda from her Anarchast episode, had the pleasure of meeting her and her amazing son at the 2016 Anarchapulco, and have enjoyed every bit content she's put here on Steemit! She's authored some great pieces about technology and anarchy, and we have her to thank in large part for @larkenrose joining us.

@elissahawke

Introduceyourself

I absolutely love Elissa! She is hilarious, insightful, intelligent, and not afraid to say anything, in front of anyone. We met at the 2015 Anarchapulco, in an elevator full of Mexican families, with her making a comment about me being in there with a shirt off, and me being mildly uncomfortable, and went on to have hours of wonderful conversation that weekend. She is a great source of content that will often make you laugh, and always make you think.

@emancipatedhuman

Introduceyourself

I'm guessing most of you know who Luis Fernando Mises is, or at least know his work on The Dollar Vigilante, Anarchast EspaƱol, and Emancipated Human. I highly recommend his pieces on non-violent communication, psychedelics, and winning the revolution with memes to get started.

@erikaharris

Introduceyourself

Erika is another beautiful human that I have had the pleasure of connecting with during my annual journeys to Acapulco for the Anarchapulco conference. As I'm typing this post, I actually just left her place in Acapulco, after a couple of days of amazing conversation & sharing in each other's passion for life. Her blog covers a wide range of topics, including poetry, an interview show, and cannabis, which she is most passionate about. Erika is a big part of the shift that Anarchapulco has gone through, from that first year of focusing on cryptocurrencies & the basics of the philosophy thought to this upcoming4th year including an ayahuasca ceremony, a health & wellness retreat, and talks on mindfulness, veganism, spirituality, and more.

@ftlian

Introduceyourself

Ian moved to New Hampshire as part of the Free State Project, and has long been involved in creating liberty media, like his documentary "Derrick J's Victimless Crime Spree", NH-based activist news source Free Keene", and his national radio show: Free Talk Live. His content covers a variety of topics, including cryptos, the importance of knowing your rights, and NH-based libery news

@jakemccauley

Introduceyourself

The title of his intro post: "From Gang Life To Voluntaryism" should tell you how great the stories from this kid are going to be. Growing up in Baltimore, Jake got involved in the world of organized crime at a young age, and his experiences there have led him to dedicate his life to reducing aggression in the world. He has covered a TON of topics, and some of his posts absolutely blew up, like "Is It Evil To Join The Military". He had actually been pretty inactive on the platform, but as I typed this up, he posted a new one: "Why I'm Against Age of Consent", so I figured I'd count him as active for inclusion purposes.

@johnvibes

Introduceyourself

John is an event organizer (including Free Your Mind Conference, where we met this Spring), a publisher, an author, a researcher, and an activist. He's authored 4 books, 3 of them with @dbroze. He is also a holistic & natural cancer-fighter; he is using diet, cannabis, and lifestyle changes to heal himself, while also sharing his journey publicly.

@joshsigurdson

Introduceyourself

Josh, of World Alternative Media, is one of our most prolific journalists here on Steemit, covering everything you can imagine. He's been uploading a LOT of content to Dtube, and keeping Steemit informed on all the up-to-date news that the news won't cover.

@joycamp-benny

Introduceyourself

If you like a nice dose of funny in your philosophy & conspiracy, then you must know the YouTube channel JoyCamp. From the TSA to chemtrails, from false flags to the surveillance state, they cover it all, and they're hilarious. Benny Wills is that curly haired "conspiracy guy" in all the videos, and he just joined us here on Steemit last week. Benny is an actor, an activist, a poet, and an anarchist, he's hilarious, insightful, and well-researched. His introduction was his first ever blog post, and he's ready for the Steemit community to help motivate him to create more world-changing content!

@juansgalt

Introduceyourself

Juan Galt is one of the key humans in the Anarchapulco community; he's a journalist, a philosopher, a traveler, and an all-around crypto-guy. He got me turned onto Dash, and he's doing a beautiful job documenting the anarchist migration to Acapulco, and creating some guides for people coming down for the conference or to live.

@kafkanarchy84

Introduceyourself

You can find this guy on YT, FB, and Twitter as VoluntaryJapan. He's into crypto, anarchy, peaceful parenting, and changing the world! Definitely one of the most prolific anarchists on our platform, also super busy in the comments of many other folks' posts.

@kennyskitchen

Introduceyourself

Hey, this one's me :-) I've spent the last 29 months traveling Turtle Island, attending and being of service at events like the Rainbow Gathering, Jackalope, Anarchapulco, and a Lakota Sun Dance to name a few. I am a vegan chef, music promoter, healer, dumpster-diver networker, researcher, and life optimization facilitator. What that means is that I spend a lot of time living with various world-changers, helping them through activations & transitions, sharing whatever knowledge I've accumulated that can benefit them, and preparing them delicious food medicine.

@kevinwong

Introduceyourself

Kevin writes about one of the biggest varieties of topics out of anyone on this list, from crypto to enlightenment and from video games to drugs. He's a musician, a writer, a programmer, an entrepreneur, and an "ether-punk" (something I had never heard of).

@larkenrose

Introduceyourself

Larken Rose is one of the best known speakers & authors in anarchist philosophy, writing "The Most Dangerous Superstiotion" and The Iron Web". His current project, The Mirror is very exciting, and something I would recommend that you all look into. Larken is another speaker at the annual Anarchapulco conference, so if you'd like to meet him, it's a great opportunity.

@layl

Introduceyourself

I met Cody through @juansgalt this past summer, and we immediately hit it off. He's a trainer, a writer, an anarchist, a father, and he's been building his STEEM empire quite well over the last year. He posts a lot of content about effective habits, reprogramming the brain, and the anarchist biker gang he's part of :-)

@lesliestarrohara

Introduceyourself

Leslie is one of the many anarchists on this list who is also a fiction writer (so exciting to have that kind of community around!) As a fellow literature-lover, and proponent of [spreading the message] through that format, I loved her post "9 Children's Books That Will Turn Your Kids Into Anarchists", and I've been following her ever since.

@lily-da-vine

Introduceyourself

John & Lilly are another pair of anarchists living in Acapulco, after going on the run for their ganja dealing in the USSA. They post about literally every part of their life: their garden, their work, philosophy, and much more. They're also spear-heading the forking of Anarchapulco & Steemfest, this winter in Acapulco.

@lukestokes

Introduceyourself

I've been following Luke since I joined Steemit, and he's consistently put out GREAT content about anarchy, the workings of Steemit, PorcFest, and success. When someone writes a post that I feel really needs some correcting or things they missed pointed out, Luke's that guy that it always seems has already left a comment.

@lukewearechange

Introduceyourself

I'm guessing you all know who Luke Rudowski is, certainly one of the most active journalists on the planet, covering everything from Bilderberg & 9/11 truth to Fukushima & psychedelics. Every year, Luke does the Change Media University boot-camp at Anarchapulco.

@maxigan

Introduceyourself

You may recognize Max by the name of his radio show, The Crow House. He is an occult researcher, musician, artist, speaker, and much more. He covers every topic obscure & conspiratorial, and I know a LOT of folks who look to him as their go-to researcher.

@mikeonfire

Introduceyourself

Mike was one of the first anarchists to move to Acapulco, has hosted an amazing party after the conference each year (which I generally cater), and has been a big part of the expansion of the Octologue there. He creates a lot of content about building habits, trusting yourself, and expansion.

@pomperipossa

Introduceyourself

I met Linus at the 2016 Anarchapulco conference, had some amazing conversations, and by this year's, he had left Sweden and started living his life as an anarcho-minimalist traveler like myself. He is a self-identified anarcho-capitalist, and one of my favorite folks to enter dialectic with. He's been on Steemit for most of this year now.

@pressfortruth

Introduceyourself

Dan Dicks is one of the great journalists of this era, doing lots of amazing work, many times right alongside @lukewearechange & @dollarvigilante. He's been actively doing interviews, making documentaries, and creating great content for a decade now, with no sign of slowing down. Dan he speaks every year at Anarchapulco, and has been on Steemit since early on.

@sashadaygame

Introduceyourself

Sasha Daygame started blowing up on the internet after putting up videos of himself hitting on women, then went on to do workshops & classes to help men gain self-esteem and get comfortable around women, and finally having a full-blown spiritual shaking by the Universe. He has since focused his work on helping people reach their highest levels in every way, creating the Infinite Man program. Sasha & I met at the second Anarchapulco conference, and this last year really connected & hit it off, even doing an episode of his Woke.AF podcast.

@scottermonkey

Introduceyourself

I met Scott last year during my time in Acapulco, leading up to the conference. He had just moved down from Texas, and immediately started a weekly Non-Violent Communication meetup in town. He is part of the team behind Voice & Exit, and he's created his own card-game, Play to Evolve, to help people learn & practice empathy & open communication. He posts about tech, philosophy, food, and life as an anarchist.

@steeminganarchy

Introduceyourself

Todd has been publishing original content non-stop since last September, including multiple novels. I really enjoy his Liberty Through Language series, as well as his satirical Interview with a Psychopath series. One of the most prolific anarcho-Steemians around!

@sterlinluxan

Introduceyourself

Sterlin is one of the premier anarchist intellectuals of our day & age, one of those guys I picture having at all my dream round-tables, and actually got to have a couple of those this past winter in Acapulco. His focuses on peaceful resistance, education, spreading the message, and Steemit have all been amazing. I would recommending reading EVERYTHING this guy posts, you're mind will certainly be expanded for it.

@teamsteem

Introduceyourself

I would consider @teamsteem to be one of the best content creators on our platform, as well as my favorite witness, and an all-around great human being. He is a community builder, an anarchist, and a vegan (most people don't even know that one). He's written many amazing short novels (I kid... sort of) on the platform, and he does amazing work supporting a variety of projects including the @minnowsupport project. Give him a follow, and if you see a post come up from him but don't have the time to read it, it's definitely worth a bookmark.

@tftproject

Introduceyourself

The Free Thought Project started in 2013, and have since been a great resource for news and opinion, focusing on the solutions to many of the problems we face today. They've got a number of great journalists & activists on the team, and keep pumping out wonderful content.

@truniversal

Introduceyourself

My amazing friends Mike & Nicole just joined us here on Steemit (they're about to post their intro, so give them a follow so you don't miss it), and I'm excited to introduce them to our anarchist community. We met at @dbroze's For the Community Festival last year, I stayed with them on my journey south a few weeks later, they came down to Acapulco and stayed in the house I put together this winter, and I'm actually staying with them right now :-) They are a hip-hop/spoken word duo, translating the journey of awakening and stepping into your sovereign power into lyrics & beats.

@wearechange-co

Introduceyourself

We Are Change Colorado is one of, if not the largest chapter of We Are Change in the world, and has maintained a growing & changing membership, as well as it's activity level, for over a decade now. From it's monthly open mic night in Denver, to a years-long battle with the Denver Water Board to remove fluoride from the region, the group has been quite successful as activists and community-builders. As content creators, WRCC specializes in interviews with activists, documentarians, teachers, musicians, and various other world-changing humans.

The Inactive Anarchists

These folks meet my criteria to be on this list, but simply aren't active on Steemit anymore. I recommend following them anyway, so you won't miss it if they come back to the platform.
