I bought a school bus!

So a few years ago I was working at a chicken factory (The job entailed sizing the chicken breast filets among other things) and I met this guy Mr. Cook. He and I got to talking and I decided I want to buy and run a food truck. After that job ended I went to work for AT&T and also I got ripped off to the tune of 3000 dollars trying to buy a food truck on eBay.

This year, however, I got some money and decided why not try again. So yesterday I and my daughter went on a 2-hour drive to Kentucky, and 1.5 miles before we got to the destination, the van's transmission went out, and with my phone being in "roaming," I could not call the insurance to get a tow, or to get help from the family that I was trying to buy this bus from. So I and my 16-year-old daughter walked to the place. Actually, we walked a mile past it and then had to backtrack.

We then bought the school bus and got the insurance to tow the van home, which they said would cost us over 200 dollars. I went and got some stuff from the broken down van and sat there for a while at the van, but nothing, so I went down the road to a gas station to where it was not in roaming anymore, and called Progressive. After about 45 minutes, they answer and said the guy was at the van. I then spoke to the tow guy's boss and he said the guy had picked it up an hour before. I ended up paying them over the phone for the tow.

Then I started driving home in my new (to me) Chevy school bus. Next steps include getting a paint job and equipment.
