Power of the wind.

So, the cloud arrived in a funnel shape driven by a strong high wind.

This morning I will show you a 30 minute wind power sequence in our skies. The first photo is of a once solid advancing cloud being split into fingers by the chasing wind. All kinds of interesting cloud shapes were whipped up by the wind and the cross winds.

Look how a cross wind forced a border line to the cloud at the bottom left.

The cross wind also started to change the direction of the cloud.

Swinging the clouds right across the top of our house roof and that's our Palm tree that you see the sun in.

Yes the cross wind decided to blow the clouds in a different direction.

Only the crows came out to fly in strong winds like this.

All of this took place in about half an hour as we were on our way to go and do some training. As I got to our car, I looked up and saw the approaching cloud in the first photo, so we had to wait a bit before we departed.
The winds often clash above our valley, as one wind comes from over the mountains and the cross wind comes from the sea, So yeah, I call our sky the battle field of the winds.

And That's All Friends.

Note: All photos are my own and taken with a Canon Powershot SC60HS Bridge camera.

We hope that you have enjoyed the story and the pictures.
